Viewfield

Torquay acquired 125 bbls/day of oil production at Viewfield, Saskatchewan, in July 2010. Since then, Torquay has drilled four horizontal wells with 100% success rate. Solution gas from the oil wells has been tied into a nearby plant resulting in increased netbacks from the sale of gas and associated NGLs (Natural Gas Liquids).

  • Acquired 125 bbls/day of oil production at Viewfield, Saskatchewan, in July 2010.
  • Torquay operates and has a 100% Working Interest in the land, wells and facilities.
  • Drilled four horizontal wells with 100% success rate, two in the Frobisher and two in the Bakken.
  • Torquay is planning to shoot a 3D seismic survey over the property in early 2011.
  • Up to 9 additional horizontal locations are planned for 2011.
  • Further locations will likely be proposed after the 3D has been shot and interpreted.
